I am a professional broadcaster, host, consultant, entrepreneur, higher education professor, content creator, and veteran event manager. My main focus is on gaming, esports, education, and technology. I have worked in radio, television, live streaming, and as the founder of the Jolumi Media firm (Joe-lou-me), I consult for multiple esports, gaming, sports, tech, and education companies. I have been a gamer and self-proclaimed NERD ever since I was a kid, when my dad managed Radio Shack in Oklahoma, USA. I have been a professor in higher education since 2013 and am the current Head of Events and Media at the University Campus of Esports in London, UK. I have worked in the non-profit and traditional sports industry for over 25 years with the YMCA, NCAA, NAIA, Parks and Recs, Sports Commissions, and the Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, I helped create the first gaming and esports STEM-Accredited non-profit 501(c)3 charity, the 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (VEF), as the Executive Director and now serve as the President & Co-Founder.

With over 25 years in the 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 and traditional 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 industry, and over 11 years of experience in the gaming and esports industry. I am passionate about creating a positive social impact through interactive learning and entertainment. As the President & Co-Founder of the 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, I lead this non-profit organization that provides financial assistance, academic support, and career guidance to students, schools, educators, parents, game designers, streamers and organizations who want to pursue gaming and esports.

My newest venture of taking my 13 years in higher education to London, UK, as the Head of Events and Senior Lecturer for the University Campus of Esports in the fall of 2024, teaching the Business of Esports through Marketing, Media, Production, Law, and Event Management.

I am also a 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁 and 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 for various gaming, tech, education, and esports organizations. I create, host, and produce online live streams, interviews, webinars, and shows that educate and inspire audiences about the gaming and esports industry and its opportunities.
